Sustainability is in our DNA. As a rental business, we are proud to be part of the circular economy with the aim of using resources as well as possible. Reduce - Reuse - Recycle

Renting things that we only need for a short time instead of buying them is sustainable (read more here ). In addition, we value high-quality fashion to guarantee long-term use. Our focus is on sustainable materials and brands. Short transport routes and European production are important to us. And yes, we also have some products in our range that do not meet these criteria. This is where the cat bites its own tail - there are currently not enough sustainable brands to offer you an attractive selection. Maternity wear and babywearing jackets in particular are only used for such a short time that they are either made for a short lifespan (correspondingly not sustainable) or fulfill 1,000 functions at the same time in order to be able to be worn beyond the pregnancy and babywearing period, which in turn has a negative effect on style and functionality affects. The more that is rented, the more brands and we can develop and offer fashion that is both chic and sustainable and fulfills its purpose - to show off your baby bump or to accompany you and your baby on your walks.

"We don't need a handful of people being perfectly sustainable, we need millions of people doing it imperfectly."

We are proud to work with innovative startups on the most sustainable solutions for shipping, packaging and fashion. Here is an overview of our partners.

We ship our goods in The Ocean Package reusable shipping boxes.

The Munich startup has managed to produce 100% recyclable boxes that consist of 70% recycled materials - 30% of which are sea plastic. The boxes are so stable that we can use them up to 20 times. Awesome right?

The re-bags are made from existing curtain material, i.e. from recycling material , which helps to save plastic and paper. The cherry on the cake? All rebags are sewn by hand with a lot of commitment in social institutions in Bavaria. Thank you for your commitment, dear retüten team!
